Description

HSS382 and HSS383 develop and consolidate the further language skills acquired in HSS282-283 and extend understanding of contemporary Lusophonia through study of selected prose-fiction texts by Brazilian, Portuguese and Portuguese-African writers. The course gives special importance to direct and indirect translation as a cognitive competence to enhance their metalinguistic reflection on both languages and structures
